All Children's Hospital

Vincent Lecavalier and Beaubois: Major players for the All Children's Hospital

Inserting the best talent into the line-up is how the management of the children's hospital launched the construction of a new building with a value of $294M to replace the existing one constructed 40 years ago.

A veteran with exceptional skills, Beaubois took charge of producing all the architectural woodwork for the premises. Consoles and headboards, cupboards, vanities, wall panels, nursing stations, furniture for the reception, games room and chapel - Beaubois scores on every floor. Quick on its skates, Beaubois took all the obstacles out of play and hit the target delivery date.

Tampa Bay Lightning star, Vincent Lecavalier, added another point to his goal score with his $3M donation to the fit-up of a centre dedicated to the treatment of cancer and blood diseases. Named after him, the centre occupies the 7th floor and offers 28 rooms for the children and parents who want to stay overnight with them.

This player, who invites sick children and their parents to his VIP box several times a year, told the press, "I love children and the Tampa Bay Area so this cause is very important to me." The President and Chief Executive Officer of All Children's Health System, Gary Carnes, emphasized that, if the name of Vincent Lecavalier gives them greater visibility, his involvement gives the patient a strong and compassionate partner for the future.

Equally concerned about the well-being of children, the Beaubois team is proud to have made its contribution to this project. With its sometimes unusually shaped furnishings, its colored walls and lively decor, the All Children's Hospital of St. Petersburg has a unique appeal that sometimes crosses into that of a fantasy land. The result: a warm and calming environment for these brave little children.

The not-for-profit All Children's Hospital is a leading centre for treatment, education, research and advocacy in child health. Every year, it is listed among the top 25 children's hospitals in the United States, a ranking established through comparative studies conducted by Child Magazine.
