Beaubois fit up Concordia University's new Engineering and Computer Science Building in Montreal (QC)

Beaubois always enjoys having the opportunity to use other materials to create a particular overall look.

The Beaubois team eagerly took on the creation of enamelled steel wall panels for Concordia University's new Engineering and Computer Science Building.

These panels are found all 17 floors of the building, beside the elevators, which are enhanced by wood ceilings. The 12 floors of the atrium are decorated with Douglas fir panels.

As part of a bold floor plan, decorative screens of the same wood are used to define the different sectors of activities. Made of horizontal lathes that diffuse the light, they create a warm ambiance. Add to this the magnificent panelling in the two auditoriums (walnut and Douglas fir), reception area furnishings, the coffers and the recycling containers.

Beaubois also contributed its own artistry to the fit-out of the Visual Arts building. The firm produced glass showcases, wood panels for the auditorium, reception desks, public benches, counters and cupboards.

Talent and taste create the perfect blend throughout this architecturally-stunning building.
