The Capitol Area East End Complex in Sacramento, California - What a Capital Project for Beaubois!
Beaubois was awarded a major contract for the construction of the Capitol Area East End Complex that houses, among others, the offices of the Governor of California.
Beaubois supplied the hardwood floors, security desks, wall panelling for the elevators and vanities for the washrooms in each of the 5-storey buildings. In addition, an immense structural ceiling banded with maple was built atop a vast atrium.
The Capitol Area East End Complex provides 110,000 square metres (1.18 million square feet) of tenantable space and required a total investment of US$392M.
