Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

Beaubois impresses at Disney's Coronado Spring Resort in Florida

First demonstrating the caliber of its work at the Disney World BoardWalk Resort, Beaubois was then asked to work on the interior of Disney's Coronado Spring Resort, a hotel with 1,500 rooms and an extensive convention center.

The Beaubois team created and installed the architectural woodwork in all public spaces, including the reception and food court areas. As well, the company's craftsman's touch was also evident in all the bedroom vanities.

Its work adds to the beauty of the resort's Spanish architecture. Spread out around the Lago Dorado, five themed buildings each display different architecture, with a common color scheme of yellow, pink or blue in warm and pastel colors.

The heart of the hotel is El Centro, with a great dome arching over the main hall. It houses four restaurants, boutiques and a 9,500-square-meter convention center. The Dig Site, with its replica Mayan temple, is the resort's recreation center. The hotel rooms are in the three other buildings.

Beaubois is proud to have worked on this magnificent project and to have left its mark in a place that recalls an ancient civilization still much admired for its heritage.

A few years after it was built, the resort was expanded to offer 1,967 rooms and twice as much exhibition space-at 22,000 square meters, it is now the largest Disney-built convention center, and one of the largest convention centers in the southwestern United States.
